The Luthuli Museum in partnership with the Amagugu Ethu (Our Treasures) hosted the launch of the ‘Museum in a Box’ on the 06 September 2019 at Luthuli Museum. The ‘Museum in a Box’ concept aims to make museum exhibits innovative, interactive and interesting. It also puts museum collections and expert knowledge into practice by being interactive. The box is a small acrylic or plywood. It comes with a collection of objects 3D prints, postcards, documents, maps and the like; anything you can pick up and touch and can be sent anywhere in the world.
